Digital innovation for a low carbon future
Digitisation can maximise carbon reductions through material efficiency in the design, production and monitoring of lower-carbon concretes.
This in-person seminar will bring together industry leaders in concrete and minerals together with specialists in robotics and digitisation to present, discuss and answer questions on their latest advances in digital tools and technologies.
-
Davide Zampini, Global R&D at Cemex will discuss how increasing sustainability demands require a holistic design approach and how data analysis and the power of their BIM Tools can realise sustainable construction solutions for projects.
-
Lisa von Graevenitz, EMEA Account Director at Converge will share how real-time monitoring and predictive analytics are reducing the uncertainty associated with low carbon concretes, enabling projects to meet programme and carbon targets.
-
Stephen Handscomb, Managing Director, Cementitious at LKAB, will explain how they are using automation and robotics in concrete production to produce super-efficient structural components for infrastructure projects.
After the talks, awards will be presented to the winners of The Concrete Centre’s 2026 Student Design and Sustainability Competition, sponsored by Cordek Ltd.
The evening will be rounded off with networking over drinks and nibbles for all event attendees.
