Low-Carbon Concrete: Latest Advancements in Sustainable Concrete, presented by Elaine Toogood, Senior Architect, The Concrete Centre

Elaine will provide the latest guidance on specifying sustainable concrete including low-carbon cements, recycled aggregate and responsible sourcing and will include design strategies for providing low whole life carbon using concrete. Elaine will also include some recent examples of the use of new technology to manufacture concrete, including OFFSITE construction and 3D printed concrete.

Doug will give a talk on the 2018 DIA Supreme Award-Winning project, the V&A Dundee by Kengo Kuma & Associates with PiM.studio Architects and James F Stephen Architects.
