Sustainability series

In this new Sustainability Series, The Concrete Centre will provide a wealth of information and resources to enable designers to specify sustainable concrete, design sustainably with concrete, navigate the research and data available to inform sustainable decision-making as well as provide insights into the innovation and research that will shape the future of concrete.

Throughout the summer, The Concrete Centre will run live events, Q&As, workshops and provide a hub of useful resources including on-demand webinars, guidance and research.

Low Carbon Concrete

The Sustainability Series will begin with a focus on Low Carbon Concrete.

The first live event on 25 June - Understanding Low Carbon Concrete - explored what is meant by “low” carbon, how it is defined and how designers benchmark the version of “low” that they want.

On 30 June a Q&A session was provided, focused on the guidance available in Specifying Sustainable Concrete. The panel included experts on cement, concrete, concrete products and the design of framed buildings. Panellists answered frequently asked questions as well as taking questions from delegates. A list of commonly-asked questions and answers, from this event, will be available in due course.

If you missed these live events, the recordings are now available in the list of on-demand webinars, below. Simply click on the titles of the recordings to access.
