The National Structural Concrete Specification (NSCS) has now been updated to the fifth edition. The new edition, published by CONSTRUCT, now has additional sections on specifying sustainable concrete and how to achieve the required visual concrete finish. It has also moved online with the ability to set up a collaborative document that grows as the different parties add their information to it.
As always, the new edition is a collaboration between clients, designers, contractors and concrete producers, to ensure that best practice can be followed. Members of the working party, who have been involved with the new edition will cover some of the important changes that have been brought into the NSCS fifth edition.
This webinar, presented by project team members who authored the new specification, will provide an introduction to this new resource and how it can assist designers in creating sustainable concrete projects. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions of the speakers.
