UK Concrete Sustainable Construction Strategy- update to 2030
Guy Thompson, Director of Sustainability- Built Environment, The Concrete Centre
Originally formed in 2008, the strategy reports annually on performance, providing data and setting targets for improvement across a range of indicators including resource use, biodiversity and health and wellbeing as well as carbon.
Guy will provide the latest on the forthcoming update to the strategy that will aim to accelerate the adoption of low carbon concretes, material efficient design solutions and the use of whole lifecycle assessments, EPDs and BIM.
