The winner was CCL for Worcester Library and History Centre called 'The Hive'.

The winner was South Hook LNG Tanks. The comended entries were manufacturing facility in Steetley, MediaCityUK in Salford and Strata Tower, London.
The commended entries were:
Strongforce with One Hyde Park, and Structural Systems with Newcastle under Lyme College.

The winners of the 2008 PTA awards were announced at the Concrete Society's Awards Dinner in November.
Prizes were awarded by the guest of Honour, John Sergeant, during a glittering evening at The London Marriott Grosvenor Square. The Winner of the PTA Award went to Whiston Hospital in Knowsley, Liverpool.
The judges were impressed by the size of the project, speed of construction and the volume of concrete and tonnage of steel saved by switching to a PT frame.
The judges also awarded two Commendations, firstly to University Campus Suffolk which featured a PT floor slab sloping at 20 degrees and secondly to Tooley Street which combined precast slab soffits and columns with insitu post-tensioning. These two jobs achieved BREEAM ratings of excellent and very good respectively
