Building Design to Eurocode 2

A half-day course explaining the main features and changes contained in Eurocode 2 and the accompanying UK National Annex will be held by The Concrete Centre on Monday 26^th April 2010 at the Holiday Inn, Leeds. The course is 3.5 hours CPD certified.

In particular, ‘Building Design to Eurocode 2’ will cover the Eurocode system, basis of design, structural analysis, material properties and design for bending, shearing, deflection and crack control. Also included are worked examples on flexure and shear beams and axial design.

Aimed at structural and civil engineers, the course will provide delegates with an understanding of the Eurocode system and knowledge of the design procedures for beams, columns and slabs.
